Which Is better leaving a 15 year old in a hotel alone or leave her at home for 3 days.?

My daughter would like to stay home while the rest of the family goes to a funeral.She said she feels safer and better at home than in a hotel.But I'm not to sure even though she will be leaving to d.c in less than three years. But My parents (her Grandparents) think that maby she should just stay in a hotel same as her father and I. But she has good agument of not doing anything stupid or unresponsible and there is not a doubt in my mind that she would be fine alone maby. but I'm just not too sure,i have left her alone before for about a day and a half but that's it (I do not fly,so i'm not out of town much.same as her father.) What's your idea,I know she really whould like this to know that i trust that she is and is turning into mature and responsible young lady/adult.
