Nearby places to watch fireworks at Great America in Santa Clara (2011)?

Does anyone know of any places nearby Great America where you can watch the fireworks from either your car on maybe even a nearby hotel balcony. I'm trying to avoid the crows getting out of the park, also we have a 1 year old and he can't last all day at Great America. Thanks.
